Within the sector, Worldcoin (WLD) rose 21.62%, Venice Token (VVV) rose 10.74%, and Akedo (AKE) and Pieverse (PIEVERSE) rose 14.92% and 17.31%, respectively. Meanwhile, the Meme sector rose 2.07%, with BUILDon (B) up 18.53% and Pump.fun (PUMP) up 15.33%. In other sectors, the CeFi sector rose 0.01%, with Gate (GT) up 3.17%; the Layer1 sector fell 0.41%, with Injective (INJ) relatively resilient, up 18.03%; the PayFi sector fell 0.48%, with Zcash (ZEC) down 3.16%; the Layer2 sector fell 0.58%, with Arbitrum (ARB) down 8.94%; and the DeFi sector fell 0.95%, though Hyperliquid (HYPE) was down 2.03%. Cryptocurrency sector indices reflecting historical sector performance show that the ssiAI, ssiDePIN, and ssiMeme indices rose 7.64%, 2.83%, and 2.18%, respectively.

DashTape reports A British man named "Chris" has recovered 61 Bitcoin after a 12-year legal dispute following the shutdown of UK cryptocurrency exchange Intersango in 2014, now worth approximately $4.4 million. Chris purchased the Bitcoin in 2011 and left the assets under the exchange's custody without transferring them to a self-custody wallet. Intersango, formerly known as Britcoin, was among the first UK exchanges to offer Bitcoin trading against the pound. Ryan Sweetnam, Director of Financial Litigation at CEL Solicitors, assisted in recovering the assets. The firm spent four months preparing and submitting required documents to US courts, and the return was ultimately completed through negotiation. The whale's most recent accumulation occurred between November 2025 and April 2026, buying through a downward trend from $92,000 down to $66,000, ultimately accumulating 178 WBTC at an average price of $73,286, worth approximately $13.05 million.
