DashTape reports A petition to the Korean National Assembly calling for a two-year delay in virtual asset taxation has garnered more than 32,000 signatures. Under the Assembly's legal quorum of 50,000 signatures for petitions, if an additional 18,000 signatures are secured by September 20, the petition will be submitted to the relevant standing committee. The petition argues that delaying the implementation of the virtual asset tax by two years could prevent a significant reduction in foreign exchange earnings and a sharp decline in corporate tax revenue.
