Ethereum treasury company Bitmine announced a purchase of 1 BTC after 8:00 AM Eastern Time on August 31, without disclosing the specific purchase amount, bringing its total holdings to 211 BTC. French Bitcoin company Capital B announced on September 7 that it purchased 376 BTC at $67,182 per coin, bringing its total holdings to 3,521 BTC. Asset management firm Strive announced on September 8 that it spent approximately $109 million last week to purchase 1,375 BTC at $79,281 per coin, bringing its total holdings to roughly 24,531 BTC. On the fundraising front, Capital B announced that it has raised an additional €7.6 million (approximately $8.83 million) from investors and institutions, including Adam Back, for the purpose of purchasing Bitcoin. BHODL confirmed the completion of its ATM 2 (second at-the-market offering program), having sold 600,000 ordinary shares at an average price of 8.06 pence per share, raising total proceeds of £48,275 ($65,253.32) for Bitcoin purchases, and has initiated ATM 3 (third at-the-market offering program). As of press time, the total Bitcoin holdings of the tracked global listed companies (excluding mining companies) stand at 1,119,973 BTC, a decrease of 2.38% from the previous week. The current market value of these holdings is approximately $87.77 billion, representing 5.6% of Bitcoin's circulating market capitalization.

DashTape reports Malone Lam is expected to appear in federal court on Tuesday for a plea hearing in connection with an alleged $230 million Bitcoin theft. Prosecutors allege that in August 2024, Malone Lam led an 18-person group that obtained more than 4,100 Bitcoins from a Washington, D.C. investor through social engineering tactics. The funds were subsequently used to purchase cars, luxury homes, and a private jet, as well as spend at nightclubs.
