DashTape reports Payment technology company Visa's stablecoin settlement volume has exceeded $20 billion on an annualized basis, growing more than 15-fold from a year ago. Over 160 stablecoin-linked card programs have been launched globally, with related payment volumes increasing nearly 200% year-over-year. Stablecoin card programs require daily settlement before cardholders repay, with some programs needing only a few million dollars per transaction while settling continuously seven days a week. Visa stated that some cryptocurrency-linked card businesses are constrained by working capital adapted to continuous settlement cycles, and on-chain credit can reduce financing costs by up to 30%. Credit Coop, in partnership with Visa, launched a stablecoin-denominated revolving credit facility that has executed over 9,000 on-chain repayments. The platform has accumulated total financing exceeding $2.5 billion, processing over 3,000 borrowings and 9,000 repayments without any defaults. DashTape reported that Pump.fun announced the launch of its Custom Pairs feature on Wednesday, allowing creators to choose tokenized stocks, wrapped Bitcoin, Ethereum, and metals as quoted assets when issuing tokens, no longer limited to SOL and USDC trading pairs. The number of supported quoted asset pairs has now reached 93, covering tokenized Nvidia, Tesla, and S&P 500, among others. Custom Pairs has been rolled out in the token creation form, with bonding curve and PumpSwap protocol fees consistent with standard issuance, of which 50% of the revenue will flow into the PUMP buyback and burn contract.

According to DashTape, as monitored by HyperliquidNews, HIP-3 open interest has grown again, recovering over $500 million in less than two weeks, bringing total open interest to nearly $4 billion.

DashTape reports Stablecoin issuer Circle has agreed to acquire Singapore-based payment infrastructure company Tazapay in an all-stock transaction valued at $400 million. The deal is expected to close in 2027 and remains subject to regulatory approvals, including approval from the Monetary Authority of Singapore. Tazapay has over 60 banking and fintech partners, providing local payout infrastructure across more than 100 markets, with annualized payment volume exceeding $25 billion, of which approximately 60% of transactions involve stablecoins. Tazapay has served as a design partner for the Circle Payments Network since 2025. Circle CEO Jeremy Allaire stated that combining USDC, Tazapay's banking network, and institutional client base can drive global adoption; Circle's Senior Vice President of Payment Business Irfan Ganchi noted that the acquisition will enhance its global payment send and receive capabilities.
