DashTape reports – Malone Lam, a 22-year-old Singaporean also known by the alias "Greavys," has pleaded guilty to one federal count of conspiracy to commit extortion, involving $245 million. Prosecutors allege that Lam organized a transnational "social engineering" network that stole victims' crypto assets through methods including fake customer service scams, database intrusions, and hardware wallet theft. Co-defendant Evan Tangeman was sentenced to 70 months in prison in April of this year for money laundering. Lam faces a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison, with a sentencing hearing scheduled for December 8.

The funds will be returned to participants' wallets via the original channels, and a follow-up announcement will be released after the refund period concludes.

DashTape reports Scroll has announced that it will transition from a general-purpose public chain to a private application-specific network built around its AI product Compass, with an estimated transition period of about 9 months. The team has launched five related products, including the AI entry application Compass, the Compass API aggregating over 30 large models, the privacy trust layer CENO, the payment and settlement product USX, and the governance token SCR, which will soon migrate to the Ethereum mainnet. CENO currently has over 30 potential clients.

DashTape reports The Polkadot community has initiated OpenGov Proposal No. 1944, aiming to create a native decentralized stablecoin called dotUSD and establish it as the primary stable value asset within the Polkadot ecosystem. The proposal is currently undergoing governance voting. According to the proposal, dotUSD will adopt an over-collateralization mechanism, allowing users to mint dotUSD by locking DOT in the future. The system will also include a stability pool, liquidation mechanism, and redemption mechanism to maintain its peg to the US dollar. The proposal plans to use funds from the Polkadot treasury to provide initial liquidity for the DOT/dotUSD liquidity pool, with $2.5 million in USDT used to mint dotUSD and an additional $2.5 million worth of DOT allocated to the liquidity pool, bringing the total initial funding to $5 million. dotUSD is planned to launch in phases, with the first phase using USDT as reserve backing for minting, and the second phase introducing a full DOT collateral vault, oracle, stability pool, liquidation, and redemption mechanisms.

In July this year, Jump's trading volume once accounted for 17.9% of the entire platform's trading volume and 28.7% of the xyz market's trading volume. Currently, Jump's related accounts hold assets valued at approximately $63.6 million, with a nominal position size of about $145 million, holding approximately $32 million in long Brent crude oil positions and $16 million in long CL crude oil positions, while simultaneously shorting gold, silver, NVDA, MU, DRAM, SK Hynix, and XYZ100, among other targets. To date, it has paid approximately $7 million in trading fees to Hyperliquid.
