According to the official announcement, network nodes and indexing services have been running smoothly after the halving. This upgrade marks the official activation of the FIP-102 proposal, with FB distribution expanding from the Fractal network to the Bitcoin mainnet, providing a broader base of Bitcoin users with a direct pathway to acquire FB. Following the activation of FIP-102, the actual block reward on the Fractal side has been further reduced to 6.25 FB, while an additional 6.25 FB issuance budget will be redirected to the Bitcoin mainnet. FIP-102 does not increase the total supply of FB. On the Fractal side, merged mining, permissionless mining, and indexing mining continue to allocate block rewards on a 1:1:1 basis. The specific Bitcoin mainnet distribution mechanism will be clarified in the subsequent FIP-103 proposal, with the goal of completing the rollout by Q1 2027.
